You need

• Flowers in small plastic inner-pot (Diameter: 10 cm)
• Medium-sized plastic inner pot (Diameter: 15 cm)
• Several colours of acrylic paint
• Wood varnish
• 24 wooden pegs
• Large scissors or craft knife
• Paint brush
• Old cloth or board to work on

  Behind Ann und für mich is a designer label by Anne. She makes new, unique jewellery in her shop. Today however, we're looking at making your home a little more colourful, and for this, she's created this beautiful flower pot out of wooden pegs. With its bright colours it will spice up your kitchen windowsill.

  Preparation
  
  
  Get all your materials ready, and make sure you've covered your work surface.

  Paint the pegs
  
  
  Paint the pegs in your favorite colours and patterns with acrylic paint.
  
  
  By mixing the colours together, you'll create great colour effects. A few variations can be seen in the pictures. Allow the paint to dry.

  Seal
  
  
  So that the colour doesn't flake off and to protect it against water damage, paint over the painted pegs with varnish.

   Stick and finish
  
  
  Cut the upper edge of the lower pot with scissors so that the edge of the lower pot is about 2 - 3 cms high.
  
  
  Attach the pegs to the edge of the shortened pot with the painted sides facing outwards. 
  
  
  Now you just need to put the plant in its small plant into your new creation and you're done!
